BPCL was one of the largest SAP R/3 implementations in India, with an initial user license for 2,500 people and a geographical spread of 250 locations implementing  SD, PP, MM, FI, CO, QM, PM, PS,HR, using IS-OIL Industry vertical.

Former Shell JV, it is  one of India's largest oil companies   in terms of market share, turnover exceeding Rs.330 billion (£5 billion).It  produces a range of products, from Petrochemicals and Solvents to aircraft fuel and specialty lubricants and markets them through 4,510 Petrol Stations,967 Kerosene dealers and 1,389 LPG distributors, besides supplying fuel directly to hundreds of industries, and airlines.

SAP India consultancy  successfully Implemented the project in 9 months assisted by a carefully selected team of  15 consultants from Vanguard Technologies for the roll out phase of SAP R/3.

Upon completion of the roll out project Mr. N Sridhar, project manager of SAP India team said…
